I am seeking information on Michael F. Maloney, who reportedly served three years in the 33rd Wisconsin Infantry, and was discharged in 1865 . He was 16 in Kenosha, WI at the time of enlistment, having lived in Troy NY after being born in Galway County, Ireland in 1846. Post-war he lived in Richfield, MN and Edina, MN, and died at age 87 in 1933. Edina contains a street named after him. The Civil War Research and Genealogy Data Base does not list a Michael F. Maloney in the 33rd WI, and I'm hoping that a member can help. I do not have the enlistment date or company. Thanks! DrMike

Hello!
At this point, I cannot confirm that any soldier surnamed "Malone" Maloney" or "Malony" served in the Thirty-third Regiment.
No such soldier with any of these surnames appears on the roster of recruits that were assigned to the regiment, but did not appear on the company rolls.
