If you have not had a chance yet to purchase a copy of Pat Brown's monograph titled "For Fatigue Purposes...The Federal Issue Sack Sack Coat 1857-1872" you may want to check out my copy at the mess meeting. I just received this for Christmas and the information contained is worth the cost of the book published by the Watchdog. I even saw a couple of pictures from Weed's collection. Way to go John.
I think Brad has a copy of this as well for gents to look at as well.
