I just recently got back from a trip to Mt. Rushmore. Spent a day at Deadwood too. While here we saw "Wild Bill's" grave, where he got shot, etc. I also found out he served with the Union during the Civil War and was a Medal of Honor recipient. Is this correct? Diod he serve under Custer? On his grave stone there seems to be some reference to this. I just found this interesting as I never knew about this side of Wild Bill. Does anyone else out there know any other details of his service?
