I have recently posted the information for the Victorian Fair in Winona, Minnesota on Sept 18 & 19. You may access the flyer here: www.33wis.com/events/vicfair/VictorianFair2004.pdfThis year we will be right on the Mississippi at the heart of the Fair, and will be joined by the 2nd Minnesota Light Artillery and their 10 pound parrot rifle. This is a great "light duty" event for public education and relaxing with your pards before the Winter break. All meals are provided. I hope you see you there!

I would like to start getting a headcount for food if at all possible. Please post or drop me a line if you plan on attending the Victorian Fair.
This promises to be a fun event. I hope you can make it.

Hi Tad,
I am planning on making it. Anything special we should bring as far as impression or gear? I will be coming Saturday am. What would be a good time to get there by?

At this point I'm thinking that the scenario will involve us, the infantry, serving primarily as guards of the artillery piece. Any standard Federal infantry impression will do. One of our main functions will be keeping the public at a safe distance during firing demonstrations etc.
Glad to have you there. So far I think we have several folks from the 33d coming, Wede, Reitz, Mike Haskins, myself and yourself. The more the merrier!
